Monroe County Department of Health reported 170 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday

Monroe County, N.Y. – The Monroe County Department of Health officials have confirmed 170 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic 937 people have died amid 47,545 positive Covid-19 tests in the county.
The county is now averaging 249 new cases per day over the past week, and has a seven-day rolling average positivity rate of 3.5%, near where it was before the holiday spike (3.55% on November 24).
The reported cases include the following patients, by age and gender:

  • 806 boys, 765 girls and one non-binary child under 10 and one unidentified
  • 4,014 between 10 and 19, 2,019 male, 1,988 female, 3 non-binary and four unidentified
  • 7,516 are in their 20s, 3,360 men, 4,131 women, 20 non-binary and 5 unidentified
  • 5,936 are in their 30s, 2,688 men, 3,229 women, 16 non-binary and five unidentified
  • 5,008 are in their 40s, 2,420 men, 2,561 women, 8 unidentified and 19 non-binary
  • 5,825 are in their 50s, 2,658 men, 3,137 women, 23 non-binary and 7 unidentified
  • 4,145 are in their 60s, 2,095 men, 2,039 women, 9 non-binary, and 2 unidentified
  • 2,463 are in their 70s, 1,157 men, 1,276 women, 3 non-binary and 27 unidentified
  • 1,450 are in their 80s, 604 men and 848 women, and one non-binary
  • 878 are in their 90s, 229 men, 652 women and one non-binary
  • Three men and 14 women, 100 years old or older
