Woman accused of stabbing two on Driving Park Avenue

Rochester, N.Y. — A Rochester woman is accused of stabbing two people Tuesday afternoon.
Rochester Police responded to 265 Driving Park Ave. for the report of a stabbing. They found a 36-year-old woman and 40-year-old male, both city residents, had been injured. Both were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police say they identified a potential suspect and when they knocked on her door, she opened it, brandishing a knife. The 40-year-old Rochester woman was taken into custody and charged with second-degree assault. Her name has not been released.
