1-Year-Old Released From Hospital After Fall From Rochester Parking Garage

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A toddler injured after police say his father held him while jumping from the top of a downtown Rochester parking garage is out of the hospital.
The 1 year old has now returned home to undergo additional treatment.
Rochester police responded to South Avenue last month when the man’s wife called and said he was suffering from a psychotic breakdown.
Before officers or the PIC team responded, the man had jumped with the toddler in his hands. The man died at the scene.
Police say the family was from out of the area and was visiting a relative.
