3 shot in Monroe Ave. neighborhood, restaurant hit by gunfire

Rochester, N.Y. – Three people are in the hospital after a shooting in Rochester Monday night.
Rochester police responded around 7 p.m. for reports of people shot in a vehicle on Monroe Avenue and Sumner Park.
When they arrived, they found two city residents with gunshot wounds in a vehicle. One, a 31-year-old man, and the other, a 19-year-old woman.
An ambulance took both victims to Strong hospital. The 31-year-old is in critical condition; the woman has non-life threatening injuries.
At the same time, an 18-year-old man showed up at Strong hospital with gunshot wounds. His injuries are non-life threatening. Police determined he was shot at the same scene.
Police confirmed a nearby restaurant, Plum House, was shot at. No one inside the restaurant was hit.
No arrests have been made and police ask anyone with information to call 911.
