Shooting near Glendale Park, one man moved to hospital

Rochester, New York — A man has been moved to hospital after a shooting near Glendale Park.

Police officers responded to the area around 2:30 a.m. for the report of a person shot. While responding, they learned the victim arrived at Rochester General Hospital by a private vehicle.

According to the officials report the 33-year-old was shot at least one time and is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

“Glendale Park between Leavenworth Street and Fulton Avenue is currently closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic and will likely remain so for one or two more hours,” RPD officials said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911. The investigation is ongoing.
