Governor Andrew Cuomo Monday announced the New York State Fair would now return at 100%
Syracuse, New York — According to Governor Andrew Cuomo the New York State Fair would now return at 100%, a change from the previously announced 50%.
On Monday Cuomo announced this change in his briefing, held at the State Fairgrounds in Syracuse.
In April Cuomo had announced the fair would open at 50% capacity and would operate in four separate area but declining infection rates and increased vaccination rates allowed for the state to review and revise its plans.
Cuomo said the fair will start on Friday, Aug.20, and run through Monday, Sep. 6. Several concerts are still slated to return.
