Rochester local organizations collect emergency supplies

Rochester, New York — On Sunday, eight local community groups joined forces to collect emergency supplies for the community.
In order to meet the rapidly growing need of the local community, the groups were collecting COVID protection gear like masks, canned goods, and personal care items.
The groups participating were: 490 Farmers, Black in the Burbs, Roc Food Not Bombs, Roc Food Relief, The Rochester Homeless Union, Rochester Mutual Aid Network, The People’s Liberation Program and The People’s Pantry.
The event took place at 490 Farmer’s Community Garden.
