One person in critical condition, other injured in a Lake Avenue accident

Rochester, New York – Two people were seriously hurt following an accident on Lake Avenue near Denise Road that occurred overnight.
In the early hours of the morning, the car lost control and crashed into a tree as well as an electrical pole.
The Rochester Fire Department extricated the two people who were trapped inside the vehicle.
According to reports, a man in his 40s has suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident, and a female passenger has been treated at the scene and is said to be in stable condition.
According to police, the motorist fled the scene.
Lake Avenue was temporarily closed to traffic, but it has now reopened.
