A robbery victim used Apple AirTag to track his stolen motorcycle to a Brooklyn deli — but after he snatched the bike back the crooks broke his nose and stole it again, cops said Sunday.
The 41-year-old victim used the coin-sized tracking device, which connects to Apple’s “Find My” network, to trace his stolen wheels to outside a deli on Knickerbocker Ave. near Jefferson St. in Bushwick on July 14, cops said.
The victim confronted two people outside the deli up just before 2 p.m. and snatched back his bike from them, cops said.
But the duo returned a short time later and jumped him, punching and kicking him before taking the motorcycle a second time, police said. The victim’s nose was fractured in the beating, cops said.
Cops released surveillance footage of the two suspects Sunday and are asking for the public’s help identifying them and tracking them down.
