Teenage boy injured in a drive-by shooting while waiting for a bus in Queens

A shocking video that was published by the New York City Police Department on Sunday shows that a teenage boy, aged just 14, was shot and wounded while waiting for a bus in Queens.

The young man was waiting for a bus on Beach 31st Street in the vicinity of Seagirt Boulevard in Far Rockaway at around 1:30 p.m. when a white Toyota Camry pulled up and shots were being fired from the vehicle.

The teenager was shot in the ankle.

The driver of the Toyota Camry rushed off in the direction of the east on Seagirt Ave. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was said to be in stable condition.

According to the police, they found six shell casings that were empty at the scene. It is unclear whether the teenager was the intended target of the attack.

No arrests have been made yet.
