On Tuesday, police announced the arrest of a man who pepper-sprayed a Best Buy clerk on the Upper West Side after a failed heist.
According to police, Jordan Smith, 24, was detained and charged with robbery for the assault on Saturday.
At approximately 3:55 p.m., Smith tried to take a laptop from the business at W. 62nd St. and Broadway, according to police.
