According to reports, a 25-year-old man was discovered dying inside a Brooklyn bar where he worked. Authorities said they believe he was the victim of a murder.
Mario Xo-Pop was discovered dying inside the Caribbean Social Club on Grand Street near Roebling Street in Williamsburg around 9:45 p.m. on Sunday. He was immediately transported to Woodhull Hospital, but unfortunately passed away.
The victim had evident bruising and cuts to his hip and back. The cause of death is yet to be determined.
According to authorities, Xo-Pop was a Guatemalan native who worked in the kitchen of the bar where he was found dying. He resided in Bushwick with roommates.
