Poll shows 61% of Iowa adults disapprove of Biden’s job performance
According to the results of a recent survey, residents in Iowa are unhappy with either President Biden or the performance of his administration.
According to a poll conducted by the Des Moines Register and Mediacom Iowa, a majority of individuals in the state had a negative opinion of Joe Biden’s performance in his position. Roughly one-third of people are pleased with his performance.
This criticism of Biden trickles down into the perceptions that respondents have of the country as a whole, with 73% of respondents in Iowa saying that the nation is headed in the wrong direction.
Only 20% of those polled are content with the way things are going in the country.
This is an increase from historically low figures in July, when a comparable survey indicated that just 10% of Iowa poll respondents felt the country was on the right path. This indicates that more Iowans now feel the nation is headed in the right direction.
The most recent poll conducted by the Des Moines Register in the state’s race for the Senate is causing some heads to turn because it indicates that Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley, who is 89 years old and has served in the Senate for four decades, has a lead of only three points over his Democratic challenger, who is a retired Navy admiral and is running as a Democrat.
The poll suggests that the race for the Senate will be much closer than many people thought it would be and that Grassley will have his toughest re-election to date. He has lost a significant amount of support from independent voters, and six out of ten say that he should be concerned about his age. But so far, the survey hasn’t led organizations that support the GOP to donate money to help the Republican who has been in the chamber the longest.
