NYC police release a sketch of man who assaulted an 11-year-old girl
On Wednesday, authorities said that an 11-year-old girl was sexually assaulted and threatened with a knife by an adult man while riding the Bronx subway.
At around 3:25 p.m. on October 18, a man approached the kid as she was riding the No. 4 train in the direction of the 149th Street–Grand Concourse station in Mott Haven.
The offender reached into his waistband and drew out a knife before giving the girl a command in Spanish to be silent.
According to the authorities, he massaged her leg, waist, and buttocks before exiting the train at the 161st Street–Yankee Stadium station in Concourse.
The assault did not result in any visible injuries for the young woman.
On Wednesday, the police department issued a sketch of the suspect in the hope that someone could identify him.
