Man stabbed during late-night altercation in Rochester
Rochester, New York – Authorities are currently on the search for individuals involved in a stabbing incident that occurred in the vicinity of Dewey and Glenwood avenues on Tuesday evening.
Following a call about a stabbing near Maryland Street shortly after 10:30 p.m., police officers rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, they found a 42-year-old man from Rochester who had suffered at least one stab wound to his lower body. He was immediately taken to Strong Hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening.
Further investigation into the incident uncovered that the stabbing took place amidst a physical altercation in the area. The investigation is still in progress, and authorities are urging anyone with relevant information to contact 911 or Crime Stoppers at 585-423-9300.
