A 35-year-old Auburn man arrested for bringing fentanyl to an incarcerated person during a jail visit

Officers from the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Department apprehended a 35-year-old man from Auburn after he allegedly delivered fentanyl to someone in custody during a visit to the Cayuga County Jail on November 11.

Following the inquiry, Michael DeAngelis faced charges of third-degree Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, a class B felony.

Following his Centralized Arraignment, DeAngelis was released on his own recognizance.
