City asks residents to submit feedback for HUD Funding Report

Residents of Rochester are being asked by the City of Rochester to submit feedback on the results of programs and initiatives carried out by the city that were funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The draft Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) offers an evaluation of the city’s expenditures and the accomplishments achieved with federal grant funds received from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) over the course of the period beginning July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2022. These dates cover the period covered by the CAPER. It assesses the level of success that the city has made in implementing both its five-year 2020–24 Consolidated Plan and its annual 2021–22 Annual Action Plan.

The draft CAPER for 2021-22 also has an attachment with information about what the City did with the $12,697,579 in HUD funds it got through the CARES Act in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and how it was spent. This information is up to June 30, 2022.

By the 17th of October in 2022, the 2021-22 CAPER will have been sent to HUD.

Through October 16, 2022, members of the public will have access to the CAPER 2021-22 and will be able to comment on it. All feedback should be sent to the following address before the deadline of October 16, 2022:
