Florida Republican Senator Rick Scott predicts GOP will win a majority in Senate after midterm elections

On Sunday, Florida Republican Senator Rick Scott, who is also the head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, predicted that the Republican Party would win a majority in the U.S. Senate after the midterm elections.

Scott talked about where he thinks Republican candidates will do best in the next elections during an interview on “State of the Union.”

“We’re going to get 52-plus. Herschel Walker will win in Georgia,… Oz is going to win against Fetterman in Pennsylvania, Adam Laxalt will win in Nevada. I think we have every reason to believe we can pick up with Blake Masters in Arizona,” he said.

The Republican Party will keep all of the seats that they presently possess, according to the previous governor of Florida, who has stated this belief. In addition to the elections listed above, he said that the Republican Party had a legitimate opportunity to win elections in the states of New Hampshire, Washington, Colorado, and Connecticut.”

“This is our year. The Democrats can’t run on anything they’ve done. People don’t like what they’ve done.

Scott also went on ABC’s “This Week,” where he backed Republican Senate candidate John O’Dea in Colorado and said that O’Dea is on the “right side” of problems like inflation, the border, and crime.

When asked what the next two years would look like if the Republicans regained the majority, Scott said that he is hoping that they will be able to enact legislation that will assist Americans and obtain the signature of President Biden on it.

“I think the Democrats are going to get a rude awakening on Nov. 8th that, you know, high inflation, high crime, open borders, not what the American public wants,” Scott said. “So, I’m hopeful that Republicans will pass good legislation and Joe Biden will sign it.”
