No winning tickets sold for the Powerball drawing, jackpot increased to $1.9 billion

According to authorities with the California lottery, there were no winning tickets purchased for the Powerball drawing that took place on Saturday night, so the jackpot has increased to $1.9 billion. The numbers 28, 45, 53, 56, and 69, with a Powerball of 20, were drawn as the winning numbers on Saturday.

The next drawing is scheduled to take place on Monday. If someone does end up taking home the jackpot, it will be the highest lottery prize in the history of the game.

According to the California lottery, the winner will have the choice of receiving the reward either as an annuity paid out over a period of 29 years or as a lump sum payment of $929.1 million.

Since August 3, when someone finally hit the jackpot by matching all five winning numbers and the Powerball, players have not been able to win the prize.

There is one in 292.2 million chance that you may walk away with the prize.
