Powerball jackpot has surpassed $1 billion for Wednesday night’s drawing

The enormous prizes that are up for grabs in Powerball will continue to fuel the growing sense of anticipation. Officials from Powerball have said that since there were no winning tickets purchased for Monday night’s drawing with a jackpot of around one billion dollars, the grand prize for Wednesday night’s choices will be a minimum of about one billion two hundred fifty million dollars.

The winning numbers from the drawing held on Monday evening were as follows: 13, 19, 36, 39, 59, and a Powerball 13.

The prize that will be awarded on Wednesday will have a monetary value of at least $596.7 million.

It’s possible that the prize pool may increase when more and more tickets are purchased.

It would be the second-largest payout in the history of Powerball, following only the world record Powerball jackpot of $1.586 billion. The pot of gold would be worth $1.2 billion. Additionally, it would be the fourth-largest prize in the history of the lottery in the United States.

The prize that will be awarded on Wednesday will be the largest ever awarded by Powerball in more than six years.

The most recent jackpot win for Powerball occurred on August 3 in the state of Pennsylvania. Since then, there has not been a single winner of the Powerball big prize in any of the subsequent 38 draws.

In January 2016, three lucky winners in California, Florida, and Tennessee split the enormous prize of $1,586 billion. These winners were located in those states.

Winners of the jackpot have the option of receiving their reward in the form of a lump sum payment or an annuity that is paid out over a period of 29 years. Every prize amount is calculated before taxes are deducted.

There is one in 292.2 million-to-one chance that you may walk away with the jackpot.

Tickets for the Powerball cost $2 apiece.

Tickets may be purchased in 45 different states, as well as the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands of the United States.

Drawings for the Powerball take place live every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time and may be seen through a livestream on the website Powerball.com.
