Rochester police seek help to solve cold cases and find wanted suspects

Rochester, New York – In an attempt to solve longstanding cold cases and apprehend fugitives, the Rochester Police Department, in collaboration with Crime Stoppers, is reaching out to the public for assistance. This effort involves highlighting five most wanted suspects and four unsolved homicide cases, with the hope that community involvement can bring closure and justice.

Most Wanted Individuals in Rochester

Crime Stoppers is offering cash rewards for information leading to the arrest of the following individuals, who are being pursued by law enforcement agencies in Greater Rochester. Importantly, the public is advised not to approach these suspects but to provide any information they have to the authorities.

  1. Gregory Rand: A 56-year-old male, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds. He is wanted for criminal possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
  2. Dayarvis Yarborough: At 25 years old, Yarborough is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. His warrant is for a violation of probation.
  3. Stanislav Maksimchuk: This 26-year-old is wanted for grand larceny 4th, petit larceny, and DWI. He stands 6 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds.
  4. Francois L. Radcliffe: Aged 35, Radcliffe is 6 feet tall and weighs 190 pounds. He is wanted for criminal possession of a weapon 2nd.
  5. Angel Arroyo: At 40 years old, Arroyo is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. He is wanted for robbery 3rd.

Unsolved Homicide Cases in Rochester

Alongside the search for these fugitives, Rochester Police are also focusing on solving four cold case homicides, each a tragic event leaving families and the community seeking answers.

  1. Ciro Colletta: On February 25, 2017, Colletta was the victim of a hit-and-run in the area of Bay St and Rohr St. The suspect vehicle is a green 2002 Chevy Tahoe.
  2. Roy Jones Jr.: Jones was fatally shot at 826 Seward Street on April 10, 2018, at 6:15 am.
  3. Larry Morales Jr.: Morales lost his life to gun violence on Dewey Avenue/Glendale Park on May 8, 2017, at 9:24 pm.
  4. Jonathan Delgado: Delgado was shot outside of a store at 1149 Portland Avenue on November 2, 2015, at 8:15 pm.
  5. Ricky DeSantis: DeSantis was killed in a shooting at 100 Wellington Street on May 28, 2019, at 11:30 pm.

These cases remain open and unsolved, and any information, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could be vital in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
