Volunteers with Catholic Charities of Rochester put together a Thanksgiving drive thru event

Volunteers from Catholic Charities of Rochester organized a Thanksgiving drive-thru event on Monday, distributing nearly 300 turkeys and 150 boxes of non-perishable items. This yearly initiative is vital for individuals facing financial hardships.

“Some of my clients are unable to afford a turkey or holiday essentials independently, so having Catholic Charities supply these resources means the world to them,” explained Joe McGee, a behavioral health coach.

In addition to this, Catholic Charities will continue its annual Share the Joy campaign this holiday season, providing an opportunity for people to contribute gifts to those who require assistance.
