Building Permits and Zoning Office at City Hall changes walk-in hours
Changes are being made to the walk-in hours at the City of Rochester Building Permits and Zoning office. However, access to, and the ability to submit, building permits and applications related to them will continue to be available via easy pick-up and drop-off options, as well as via email, telephone, and online channels.
The Building Permits and Zoning office at City Hall will be open for walk-in service beginning the next Monday, October 3, and will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. throughout that time period. The program for obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy will be relocated to room 028B, and its new business hours will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
At the same time, permit drop off and grab & go application forms will be accessible in the foyer of City Hall’s “A” building, which can be accessed from Church Street. These services will be available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Email, telephone and online permit submission will also continue to be available daily. More information is available, at: https://www.cityofrochester.gov/NBDpermits/.
