Rochester, New York – A 33-year-old man is currently recuperating from a shooting incident that occurred Tuesday night on Wilkins Street, located just off Hudson Avenue. The victim is expected to make a full recovery, according to the latest reports.

The police action was initiated around 11:20 p.m. after receiving alerts from ShotSpotter, a gunshot detection system, and multiple calls to 911 reporting shots fired in the area. Upon responding, the officers discovered that the victim had already been transported to Strong Hospital, presenting with a lower-body gunshot wound.
